Ludo has spent his entire career with Labo Smeets. He is in charge of planning and running  the plant of Fotografielaan. Ludo is in permanent contact with our customers. 

Marc Roggen Logistics manager

Technical background

Marc has spent his entire career with Labo Smeets. He is in charge of logistics. He also buys the packaging materials. Marc has lots of contact with our customers concerning supply chain issues.

Technical background

Strong operational experience in different industries. Runs the blending plant at Neerlandweg.

Technical background

As son of the founder, Axel has a long term relationship with the company. He is in charge of productivity enhancing projects and technical maintenance.

New Technology for API solubility

In collaboration with the University of Ghent, Labo Smeets has realised a new process in pharmaceutical extrusion technology, which enables us to make granules. The main application is to make pharmaceutical granule compositions to drastically improve water solubility of active ingredients. This equipment is installed and available since January 2011.
