We were contacted by a company that had a large project based upon nasal therapy with essential oils.
There was no supplier for the part, no clear definition of the product and no procedure lines to make the product, but there was a short deadline.
Pressure in order to obtain the right information at the right timing.
We agreed with the customer the precise role of each partner in this process and we warned our supplier that certain deadlines had to be kept. There was a lot of pressure on the supplier, but also on our customer market subsidiaries in order to obtain the right information at the right timing.
In less than 2 months time, we were able to ship large quantities of the product, as was required by the customer’s affiliates.
Although we had initially set up an automatisation process, we eventually decided that manual manufacturing was the most efficient.
This business ended up to be a success for both our companies.
